Summary
At first glance this looks like the female version of GTO. However Kumiko is the daughter of a Yakuza boss and must hide her background so she doesn’t get fired from her first teaching job. Comparisions aside, Gokusen stands in it own right with its witty humour and dialogue.
The story of a young, idealistic teacher who enters Shirokin Gakuen with hopes of making a difference in the students’ lives. However, Yamaguchi Kumiko (Nakama Yukie) is in for a rude awakening when she finds that she will be the homeroom teacher of 3-D, the hardest class to maintain in the school. The students have multi-colored hair, sloppy uniforms, and show absolutely no respect to her. The leader of the class, Sawada Shin is lazy but bright and shows some interest in Yamaguchi when he notices that she is very different from other teachers. The students try to bully her to make her quit, but their attempts don’t get them very far.
What the class and the rest of the school does not know is that Yamaguchi Kumiko is actually the 4th generation heir to the Ooedo Group, a notorious yakuza clan. Even though her family would like her to take the title of Ojou when her grandfather dies, they have accepted the fact that Yamaguchi would rather be a teacher.
Eventually, the students learn to respect their quirky teacher because of her devotion to them, and even give her a nickname: Yankumi.

Synopsis

Oh snap !!! i don’t know if it’s cuz this is my first manga in a long time or that i had to run a lot today that made this manga so good and left me without any air left in my lungs. Even thought the story is really dark it gave me a feeling of being alive and kind of gave me an adrenaline rush I’m weak in the arms and legs and it feel like I was the one running. This is one of the really scary manga cuz then you read it, it reminds you that ppl are dying for real in this world perhaps now or now or now.
The story is really intense.

She is the greatest MANY THANKS AND HUGS oneesan !!!!!. if it was not for her I would not have been able to read this beautiful manga by CLAMP !!! but it’s kind of sad that there is some pages that is missing in the book on mangafox. ( but you can still read it and get it so no problems) my favo story is the first one about the girl and the black wolf T^T it’s so so sad how could she do it !!? the last one is really sad too T^T I just want to hit him in the head !!!!!!!!!!!

Waaaa that’s is one of the things that makes this manga so sad. But it warms me then i see the children in the end and how they begins to like the old lady ^^aaa I like her smile ^^it so warm ^^.
